Santa Charlie has been active in the Santa community since 1998 having started working for an international retailer for their Christmas party. As he became more involved he saw the opportunity to expand his knowledge of performing by attending Santa schools with Santa Gordon Bailey, RBS author of Santa and the Business of Being Santa and Santa Timothy Connaghan, RBS founder of the International University of Santa Claus. For the past six years has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas and the Real Santas San Diego. This has allowed him to continue his education and skills performing as Santa. During this time he has added clients such as the Snowfest in Alpine, working with The Santa Lady at Seaport Village, Carlsbad Boys ad Girls Club, San Diego Botanic Gardens, military and many other private events.
